TOKYO-GA, an international project to capture “TOKYO NOW”
through the visionary eyes of 100 photographers, launched in Tokyo in 2011.

Knock on the door of your curiosity! When you’re walking around the city, small and narrow spaces have a unique ability to ignite your curiosity. The sparks are hard to spot if you’re not paying attention: It could be a tiny, detailed design, something out of sorts in an otherwise well-ordered space, an unusual combination, a surprising development—you never know. In the backstreets of Tokyo, nostalgic and surprising discoveries or encounters await you.
