As soon as you exit the JR station, you’ll find the famous Hachiko statue – it’s a popular meeting spot for locals and tourists alike.
The statue is a testament to the loyalty of dogs, as it commemorates the story of Hachiko, a faithful dog who waited for his owner at the train station everyday, even after his owner’s death.
Hold still just a little more!

As you walk around Shibuya, you’ll notice that amidst The modernization, there are still pockets of traditional place that have managed to survives.
Nonbei yokocho is one such special place that offers a glimpse into Shibuya’s past. The drinking alleys, community atmosphere, and stepping into Nonbei yokocho feels like taking a trip back in time.
To me, Shibuya scramble Intersection, Sibuya 109 and Nonbei yokocho represent the diverse experiences that Shibuya has to offer.
