Introducing My Tokyo to You: The “TOKYO Besties” Team Is Here to Highlight the Unique Parts of Tokyo.
About The “TOKYO Besties” Team
Tokyo, a city attracting people from all over the world. In this project, the members of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Official tourism PR Team “TOKYO Besties” will be creating content about what they like about the city and the spots they recommend, showcasing Tokyo’s attractions from their own perspective to young people around the world.
About the “TOKYO Besties” team members
The nine members of the TOKYO Besties team were selected from a great number of applicants who all share the love for Tokyo and are eager to highlight the unique aspects of the city. The applicants had to be between the ages of 13 and 22 and currently living in Tokyo. The selected members are all at different stages of life, ranging from junior high school students to university graduates seeking employment, each bringing diverse reasons to join the team. The one thing they have in common is their passion and love for Tokyo.
Some members of the TOKYO Besties team enthusiastically told us they want to “show people the charms of downtown Tokyo” and to “introduce Tokyo's food culture and still unknown spots.”
We can’t wait to see what kind of content they are going to curate for the world!
