Dorayaki
Dorayaki is a very familiar sweet to Japanese people, made from sweet redbean paste in a fried cover of wheat flour, egg and sugar. There is an old Japanese-style sweets shop in Ginza, Tokyo with a 90-year history that makes special dorayaki with the “Tokyo” mark burned in. The soft covers are fried by hand one-by-one and filled with premium bean paste from Tokachi in Hokkaido. Loved by a great number of public figures, it is definitely a snack worth trying.
