PAPER WALLET kintsugi

This compact paper wallet can be used many times, including for travel and outings when you want to carry as little as possible.
Paper that feels like cloth as well as like Japanese washi paper has been reinforced with foil processing and machine stitching.
The wallet is only about 7-millimeter thick, so it is highly compact and easy to carry.
The design is inspired by the traditional asanoha hemp leaf pattern found in Tokyo’s Asakusa and Ginza neighborhoods, as well as kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing objects with lacquer and gold. The wallet represents both Tokyo’s fusion of history and modernity, and the beauty of restoration.
