HOKUSAI ALOHA

This aloha shirt is produced in Sumida City, the birthplace of Hokusai Katsushika, a globally renowned and popular ukiyo-e artist.
The design features “Under the Wave off Kanagawa,” a woodblock print from the Sumida Hokusai Museum’s collection. The fabric is made from sustainable B-grade Tango chirimen silk crepe that would otherwise have been discarded.
From fabric sourcing to printing and sewing, every step of the production process has been carried out in Japan. Its high quality will not disappoint.
